Measure clicks per second

Choose a duration and press the large target. The first press starts the clock and counts as a click. Continue until time expires. Reset whenever you want another attempt.

How CPS is calculated

Clicks per second equals accepted target presses divided by elapsed seconds. The final score uses the selected duration, while the live score uses current elapsed time. The first starting press is included because it is a real target click.

Worked example

A five-second test with 32 accepted presses produces 6.40 CPS. A ten-second attempt needs 64 presses for the same rate, making equal scores across durations comparable while their endurance demands remain different.

Choose a duration

One second emphasizes burst speed and varies sharply with timing. Five or ten seconds balances speed with consistency. Thirty and sixty seconds add endurance and can encourage excessive strain, so use them sparingly. Compare only attempts with the same duration; personal bests are stored separately for each option.

Get repeatable results

Use the same mouse, browser, hand position, and surface. Warm up gently, then allow recovery between attempts. Browser workload, display refresh, touch emulation, operating-system settings, switch behavior, and input-device firmware can affect delivered events. Clicking techniques that create multiple electrical activations from one motion may not compare fairly with ordinary clicking.

Avoid discomfort and damage

This is a casual coordination test, not a reason to push through pain. Stop if your fingers, wrist, or arm feel uncomfortable. Repeated high-force or awkward motion can aggravate discomfort, and aggressive clicking can shorten hardware life. A lower score has no health or ability meaning.

Privacy and limitations

Counts remain in the page. The best score for each duration is optionally stored in this browser. There is no account, public leaderboard, anti-cheat system, hardware verification, device fingerprint, or upload. The test measures accepted browser click events, not switch latency or physical actuation speed.
