Join pictures into one file

Choose two to twelve PNG, JPG, or WebP images. Move them earlier or later in the displayed order, choose a horizontal row or vertical column, and set the gap and background. Press Combine images, inspect the preview, and download the PNG or JPG. All work happens in your browser.

Matching dimensions without cropping

For a horizontal row, Match smallest height or width reduces taller images to the smallest input height. For a vertical column, it reduces wider images to the smallest width. Each picture keeps its aspect ratio, so nothing is stretched or cropped. Smaller images are not enlarged by this mode. Choose Keep original dimensions when maintaining each image's pixel count is more important than aligned edges.

Worked example: two comparison images

Join a 400 × 200 image and a 200 × 200 image horizontally with a 10-pixel gap. Both already have the same height, so the result is 610 × 200 pixels: 400 plus 200 plus the gap. Put them in a vertical column with dimension matching instead: the first becomes 200 × 100, producing 200 × 310 pixels after adding the second image and gap.

Order, gaps, and backgrounds

The first listed image appears on the left in a row or at the top in a column. Earlier and Later buttons make that order explicit without requiring drag gestures. Gap adds space only between neighboring images, not an outside border. With original dimensions, smaller pictures are centered across the other dimension. Background color fills the gaps, unused canvas, and transparent source areas unless you select Transparent background for PNG output.

Choosing PNG or JPG

PNG is a useful default for screenshots, labels, and diagrams with sharp edges. Enable Transparent background to preserve source transparency and leave gaps or unused canvas clear. A checkerboard in the preview shows transparent areas; it is not part of the downloaded image. JPG can produce a smaller file for photographs but introduces lossy compression and cannot preserve transparency. Selecting JPG disables the transparency option and fills transparent areas with your chosen background color. The tool creates a new raster image and does not preserve the original files' metadata, animation, or editing layers.

Limitations for large combinations

Each file may be up to 20 MB, with an 80 MB combined file limit. Individual images are limited to 24 million pixels, and the set may contain at most 48 million decoded pixels. Output may contain up to 24 million pixels with no side above 12,000 pixels. These limits reduce memory pressure but do not guarantee success on every device. Resize large inputs or combine fewer pictures if your browser struggles.

Can it build a multi-row collage?

This tool produces one row or one column. It has no free-position canvas, layers, or template editor.

Why did the result disappear?

Changing files, order, or options clears the old preview. Combine again to create an output that matches the current choices.

Will screenshots overlap automatically?

No. Images join edge to edge with your selected gap. Crop repeated headers or overlapping sections before combining.
