Combine documents in selected-file order
Choose two or more PDFs. Your operating system’s file picker supplies their order, and the tool appends every page from each file in that sequence. Choose Merge PDFs, check the combined page count, then download the result. Rename files with numeric prefixes before selecting them when exact order matters.
What merging changes
Merging copies source pages into a new PDF container. It does not render pages into pictures, resize paper, or intentionally reduce quality. A portrait letter followed by a landscape A4 page keeps those different dimensions. This makes merging appropriate for application packets, invoices, meeting handouts, coursework, and reports assembled from several programs.
Worked example
Imagine an application requiring a cover letter, a three-page resume, and two certificates. Name the files 01-cover.pdf, 02-resume.pdf, and 03-certificates.pdf, then select them together. A six-page output places the cover first, followed by the resume and certificates. Open the result and inspect the first and last page before submitting it.
Plan page order before merging
This page keeps file-selection order and the internal order of every source. If individual pages must move or disappear, merge first and use Organize PDF afterward. If only chosen pages should enter the result, use Extract PDF Pages on each source before combining them. These separate steps make every change explicit.
Privacy and document handling
All copying occurs locally in browser memory. Files are not uploaded or stored by Awesome Tools. Clearing the page releases the selected references and generated download, although the original files and anything already downloaded remain on your device.
Limitations and assumptions
Encrypted or damaged PDFs may not open. Interactive forms with identical field names can conflict after combination, and digital signatures usually no longer describe the newly assembled file. Bookmarks, document-level scripts, portfolio attachments, and advanced accessibility structure may not carry across exactly. The tool supports up to 100 MB per input and is intended for ordinary personal documents rather than huge production archives.
