Correct sideways or upside-down PDF pages
Choose a PDF, enter page numbers or ranges, and select a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. Leave the page field blank to rotate every page. Select Rotate PDF, download the result, and verify the changed pages in your normal PDF viewer.
Rotation preserves page content
This tool changes each selected page’s stored rotation value. It does not turn the page into an image, reduce resolution, or intentionally remove selectable text, links, forms, and vector graphics. The operation is useful for scanner output, camera captures combined into PDFs, or mixed-orientation documents.
Worked example: fix two landscape scans
A twelve-page PDF opens correctly except pages 4 and 9, which appear sideways. Enter 4, 9 and choose 90° clockwise. The downloaded file keeps all twelve pages in their original order while adding rotation only to those two pages.
Existing rotation is cumulative
The selected angle is added to any rotation already stored on the page. A page currently rotated 90° clockwise becomes 180° after another 90° clockwise change. If a result points the wrong way, return to the original source and choose the opposite direction rather than repeatedly processing copies.
Page ranges and mixed documents
Use comma-separated values such as 1, 3-5, 10. Pages are counted from one, matching most viewer interfaces. Portrait, landscape, Letter, A4, and other sizes can coexist in one file; rotation changes orientation metadata without normalizing dimensions.
Privacy, signatures, and limits
Processing stays in this browser and the original remains untouched. Saving a modified PDF can invalidate digital signatures even when visible content appears unchanged. Password-protected inputs must be unlocked first. This page supports files up to 100 MB and 300 pages per operation.
Rotate PDF FAQ
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Enter that page number by itself.
Does rotation reduce quality?
No rasterization occurs, so image and vector resolution are not intentionally changed.
Can I reorder pages here?
No. Use Organize PDF Pages when sequence or duplication must change.
